Customizing Service Slides

Every Sunday, your church graphics welcome people in. They guide the announcements and they support the message. But creating graphics from scratch every week poses some pretty big challenges. We recently polled over 25,000 churches and pretty much everyone said the same thing.

Number one, it takes a ton of time designing from scratch every week. Number two, it's hard to teach volunteers good taste. And three, overall, it's just hard to create designs that feel cohesive across the entire service. So, we took all of this feedback and we created a brand new resource called Service Slides.

Service Slides help give your church a cohesive design experience every week. These are fully editable, professionally designed templates, and they cover every moment of your service from welcome to announcements to sermon and close. They're so easy to use that you can literally build an entire service in less than 5 minutes. So, even if you're not familiar with Photoshop, I'll show you some of the basics really quick and we'll edit a few of these together.

Or if you're a Canva user or prefer to edit directly in ProPresenter, you can use these blank slides that are included in every collection so you can easily customize no matter what your preferred software is. All right, so this is our collection, Lifted. And right off the bat, you can see that this file is really neatly organized into artboards. And diving right in, you can just double-click into any of these areas to customize the text for your church and your service.

When you click here to select the artboard, you can change the background color of any slide to match the branding of your church or sermon series. If you want to edit scripture slides, you can copy and paste from a Bible app or the web super easily. And if you need to create multiple slides, you can duplicate the artboards by holding Alt and clicking this plus sign that comes up right here. Even for special moments like communion or baptism, you can use any of these templates that are here and just enter your custom text and it's going to turn out beautiful every time.

You can hand off these templates to your volunteers or team members and see cohesive graphics come together in just minutes a week.
